The DEHOGA Federal Association and the DEHOGA Regional Associations

The DEHOGA Federal Association represents the interests of primarily medium-sized hospitality businesses at a federal level. The service industry consists of

• around 240,000 hotels and restaurants  
• approximately a million employees and
• over 100,000 apprentices

which is a strong part of the economy and the backbone of the local tourism industry.

The DEHOGA Federal Association is divided into 17 regional associations – in addition to three trade associations and four specialist departments.

These are – just like the DEHOGA Federal Association at a federal and European level -  recognized dialog partners in their respective states for politics, press, administration and the public. In a nutshell: the associations of the commercial economy.
